Dr. Mary Elizabeth Baker

Dr. Mary Elizabeth Baker was born and raised in North Augusta, SC. From a very young age she knew she wanted to be a dentist and her aunt inspired her to follow this dream by allowing her the opportunity to shadow a local dentist that she worked as a hygienist for. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in Aiken with honors and a B.S. in Biology degree and while attending obtained her dental assisting certification. After graduation, she assisted in a residency program for 2 years prior to starting dental school and continued to be inspired by the field she loved so much. She attended the Dental College of Georgia where she graduated with her doctorate of dental medicine degree. Dr. Baker is a current member of the American Dental Association. 

Dr. Baker and her husband, Ted, recently moved to the area and she is very excited to get involved in this community! Her husband and her have two bird dogs (Moose and Timber) and enjoy getting outdoors with them. Dr. Baker and her husband are avid college football fans (even if they cheer for rivalry schools) and fall is their favorite season
